Weather Shield’s story began back in 1955 when Edward Schield came up with the idea to use his personal savings to purchase aluminum extrusion parts which he hand-assembled into storm doors. He began selling these products to homeowners in Central Wisconsin, and as demand grew, he expanded his business by working with contractors.

 

Today, Weather Shield, still family-owned, has become one of the largest window and door manufacturers in North America. Committed to offering high-quality products, Weather Shield continues to grow and innovate, establishing itself as one of the nation’s premier window and door companies.
